From experience Postmasters have found that most financial issues have been denied as not falling under Recourse. Budget items are between the Associate Offices and the District. Some examples of these budget items are LLV repair costs, shared PTF clerk travel expenses, cleaning contracts, earned hours in CSV or SOV being denied, and carrier hours.

Any staffing issue needs to start with a Hiring Request form. Look on the NNE District homepage and Departments for the process.
Each request process is different depending on the position. Some scenarios that we are currently experiencing are Postmasters short on staff and working every Saturday. If you are in this category please follow the link for instructions on what you need to do for NAPUS to help.

New Postmasters, there is a "Skills Based Training" for Level 16 and below or Level 18 and above offices through the NNE District. Make sure you recieve this training.
Contact your POOM if you have not been scheduled to attend.

Postmaster vacancies update: Request has been submitted by NNE District to the NE Area for approval to post all Level 16 and above Postmaster vacancies. Awaiting final approval.

PO Box customer request for email address information. Presidents pointed out that this process would be very costly with respect to hours and printing costs to the offices. Suggested to request Rent Renawal application be updated to include a line for this information. Also suggest that National send out POP advertising with same information of letter.
